During the first lockdown, our curate, The Reverend Jo Burden, noticed that many of our children and young people would turn to Minecraft when they were invited to join in an activity related to the service readings and theme. She decided to develop this with the creation of a service entirely formed by young people…

The second lockdown had just been announced. Churches were once again asked to close their doors for a time to keep others safe. Morale across the country was low, and this, All Saints Day, was to be our last service for a month. But there was joy in the midst of our anxiety and sadness…

What a wonderful afternoon as Jo Burden, our new curate, was ordained Deacon at the cathedral. This was followed by a Harvesty celebration at St Michael’s, Breinton where we thought about the small acts of service that we each do, making up the much bigger picture of God’s Harvest in the world.
