Images of the outside and inside of All Saints

All Saints, Hereford City Centre

Where the sacred and the ordinary meet.

All Saints stands at the heart of Hereford. It is ancient, beautiful, and open seven days a week. After a major restoration in 1997, the church reopened as a worshipping community and a living presence at the centre of city life. Bill’s Kitchen, our resident café, offers coffee and welcome alongside the congregation’s daily rhythm of prayer.

Hundreds pass through each week. Some come seeking God. Some come seeking coffee. Many carry burdens we will never know. This is a place where people who might never step inside a traditional church can encounter beauty, hospitality, and the quiet presence of the risen Christ.

At the heart of All Saints is the Eucharist, celebrated on Sundays within our Anglo-Catholic tradition. Vestments and incense, the rhythm of the Church’s year, the stillness of the Lady Chapel — living tradition that draws us into deeper awareness of God’s presence. Through the week, midday Low Masses are celebrated in the Lady Chapel: a quiet refuge for anyone who needs it.

All Saints also celebrates human creativity through Faith in Art, our exhibition and workshop group. The Nave has held Shakespeare and flamenco, concerts and the Three Choirs Festival. In Advent, local school choirs fill the space with song.

We are a friendly, enquiring community. If you are curious about faith, returning after a long absence, or simply looking for somewhere to rest quietly, the door is open.
