Annual Easter Display Trail 2022
Building on the previous year’s event, the West Hereford Team ran an Easter display trail with the theme Life and Hope: Jesus is Risen!
Local schools and colleges created their own interpretations of the theme, and members of our churches created a series of Easter displays outside their homes for others to visit. All the displays were on show over the Easter bank holiday weekend, Saturday 16 to Tuesday 19 April.
Ways people took part included:
- Visiting the Easter displays and collecting bible verse words along the trail to win a prize
- Creating an Easter display outside their own home
- Making a mini display at All Saints demonstrating what life and hope meant to them
- Painting a rock at Breinton churchyard to illustrate life and hope
Displays and mini displays included drawings, paintings, Lego models, floral arrangements, toys, words, images and photos. Locations included homes across the parish, Hereford Sixth Form College, and all four West Hereford Team churches, with work by pupils at Lord Scudamore Academy featured at several sites.
