Team Talk March 2026

This month:

Jonathan writes on Lent as an invitation to bring our honest questions to God rather than rushing to answers, drawing on a conversation with a farmer about living with uncertainty. The Venerable Derek Chedzey, Archdeacon of Hereford, reflects on the Ukraine war and the Christian call to peacemaking. Jonathan continues the Becoming series with Part One, on how real change comes through daily training rather than willpower, and contributes an original poem, Chimneys and Sparrows, on grace found in unglamorous, industrial places. Jean Thomson writes on St Nicholas’s long-serving Victorian rector Samuel Holmes. There is also news of the Dust and Glory Lent course continuing through March, Holy Trinity’s Easter Lilies appeal, and St Michael’s Spring Fayre on 21st March.
